Crimea has increased its natural gas reserves by a third for the transit of blue fuel to the Kherson region, the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov, told reporters. According to him, the underground gas storage facility was filled 30% more than usual.
The head of the republic also assured that all work for the heating season has been completed. “We act in manual mode, if the temperature is below +22 degrees, then we turn on the heating. So far the weather is warm,” Mr. Aksenov told reporters on Tuesday, October 31. Let us remind you that according to officials of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gas reserves in the region amount to 1.4 billion cubic meters. m.
Earlier, the government of the Kherson region reported that the main gas pipeline from Crimea had already been completed and launched in time for the heating season. According to officials, thanks to the implementation of this project, it will be possible to quickly build low-pressure gas pipelines to all nearby settlements.
