The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) suspended loading from the sea terminal near Novorossiysk due to the storm. The tankers have been moved to holding areas, the CPC press service reported.

The resumption of transshipment will be announced additionally,” the company noted.
CPC operates the 1,511 km Tengiz-Novorossiysk oil pipeline – the main export route for Kazakh oil, accounting for more than 80% of Kazakhstan’s oil export volumes. The pipeline’s capacity is 67 million tons of oil per year.
