The Board of Directors will continue to work in a reduced composition. The voice of Dmitry Maksimov will not be taken into account when voting and determining the quorum, the company added. In the near future, an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be convened and the board of directors will be re-elected. The date and form of the meeting is still unknown.
Now the chairman of the board of directors is the co-founder of Positive Technologies and the largest shareholder of the company Evgeny Kireev, he took this place instead of Yuri Maksimov, who concentrated on strategic issues of business development and corporate governance in the company.
June 23 Positive Technologies hit under the 11th package of EU sanctions. The company’s official statement says that the EU’s decision to impose sanctions against Positive Technologies is based on the fact that the company has a license from the FSB of Russia and does not affect the company’s business in any way. According to a company spokesperson, Positive Technologies’ plans for “doubling annual business growth or creating disruptive cybersecurity technologies” remain unchanged.
