Soviet, Russian and American cinematographer Mikhail Suslov died on March 5, 2024, the TV channel reported “Culture”. Mr. Suslov was 84 years old.

Mikhail Suslov was born on March 23, 1936 in Chisinau. In 1962 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK. Later he collaborated with the creative association “Ekran” and the film studio “Mosfilm”.

In 1976, Mr. Suslov moved to the United States, where he took part in the creation of Hollywood action films and crime dramas. Returning to Russia in the 1990s, he began collaborating with director Sergei Ursulyak. Together they shot the films “Isaev”, “Liquidation”, “Odessa Steamship”, “Life and Fate”, “Quiet Don”.
