Cian, the holding company of the real estate listings service Cian, has submitted for approval to the Central Bank a prospectus for US depositary receipts and other documents necessary to ensure its continued listing on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX: MOEX). This is reported in press release companies.

On February 28, 2022, trading in Cian securities on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) was suspended. In March 2022, the exchange announced the delisting of securities of several companies whose main business is concentrated in Russia. Among them was Cian.

On March 28, Cian filed an appeal of the NYSE decision. The company maintained that it complied with all reporting obligations, qualitative and quantitative criteria for the exchange’s listing, and complied with the NYSE’s disclosure requests. The Moscow Exchange and St. Petersburg Exchange then decided to conduct trading in Cian securities as usual.

Cian was delisted from the NYSE in August this year. Following this, the company filed an application to deregister its shares with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. In November 2021, Cian conducted an IPO on the NYSE with a parallel listing on the Moscow Exchange.
