Car repair plant from Buryatia will supply trains for India

The Ulan-Ude Locomotive Car Repair Plant (LVRZ, a branch of JSC Zheldorremmash) will take part in the implementation of the international project of the Russian Transmashholding and the Indian Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. How informs the press service of the government of Buryatia, this became known on July 25 during the visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Ulan-Ude.
“The international agreement was signed today in New Daily. The Russian side will supply and provide service of trains for the needs of Indian railways. The capacities of the LVRZ will be additionally involved in the implementation of the project,” the message says.
It is also noted that Zheldorremmash JSC will create an additional 1.8 thousand jobs, 600 of them in Ulan-Ude. This will raise the readiness factor and implement the Russian-Indian agreement.
