Bud Light loses $5 billion in transgender ad

Anheuser-Busch lost more than $5 billion in market capitalization after one of its brands, Bud Light, partnered with transgender Dylan Mulvaney, according to the US. new york post and British Daily Mail.

The partnership was announced on 2 April. After that, sales of Bud Light beer in the US began to plummet. In social networks, American users are actively calling for a boycott of the drink. The media is talking about “millions” of hashtags calling for a beer boycott on TikTok and “thousands” using it on Twitter. Bars are reporting a 50-70% drop in demand.
