Actor Brendan Fraser is experiencing a new wave of popularity after a long break from filming due to personal problems. And in a fresh interview, Fraser admitted that he was ready to take part in the filming of the new part of The Mummy, if someone decides to take it off.
Fraser told Variety that he intends to return to the title role in the fourth installment of the Mummy film franchise, although there are currently no plans to make the film. Nevertheless, the actor expressed the hope that someone could take on him, despite all the difficulties associated with the filming process of such films.
In addition, the movie star remembered the reboot of the famous film, which was released in 2017 with Tom Cruise in the title role. Frazier speculated as to why the remake failed at the box office.
According to the actor, the new “Mummy” turned out to be too gloomy and straightforward. Frazier is convinced that the picture should first and foremost be an attraction, but director Alex Kurtzman actually made a horror film.
