Brad Pitt and Taylor Swift are in the top 10 highest paid celebrities according to Forbes in 2022

Magazine Forbes presented a ranking of the ten highest paid celebrities in 2022. Their combined earnings for the past year amounted to $1.3 billion. The first place in the ranking was taken by the British rock band Genesis, whose members earned $230 million in 2022 by selling the rights to their music to Concord Music Group.
IN rating Forbes also included:
- British musician sting, which earned $210 million on the sale of the entire music catalog of Universal Music Group;
- American actor, director, screenwriter and producer Tyler Perry. His profit from income from film productions and other projects amounted to $175 million;

- British rock band The Rolling Stones, touring and royalties revenue in 2022 was $98 million;
- American director James Cameron, which, according to industry sources Forbes, earned on the sequel “Avatar” $95 million;
- American singer Taylor Swift. Her earnings from album sales and streaming plays amounted to $92 million;
- Puerto Rican rapper bad banny, which earned $88 million on advertising contracts, concerts and royalties from music streaming.
The amounts in the ranking reflect the earnings of celebrities in 2022 before taxes and minus production costs, including fees to managers, lawyers and agents.
Celebrities of last year’s ranking Forbes earned a total of about $4.4 billion. Then the top three included director Peter Jackson ($580 million), musician Bruce Springsteen ($435 million) and rapper Jay-Z ($340 million).
