The film “Blonde” about Marilyn Monroe claims the title of the worst film of 2022 as part of the Golden Raspberry Awards. The biopic was nominated in eight out of nine nominations.
Blonde is nominated for Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, Worst Remake, Worst Director (Andrew Dominic), Worst Supporting Actor (Xavier Samuel, Evan Williams) and others. Other films nominated for Worst Film were Good Mourning, The Mermaid and the King’s Daughter, Morbius and Pinocchio.
The 2021 Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Film of the Year was awarded to Diana the Musical, a musical about Princess Diana. The film also won four more nominations. Both “Blonde” and “Diana: The Musical” were released on the Netflix platform. According to IMDb, the biopic about Marilyn Monroe received a rating of 5.5 points out of 10. On the Metacritic platform, the picture has 50 points out of 100.
