Binance has decided to stop cooperation with Advanced Cash – Kommersant

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is considering terminating cooperation with the Advanced Cash (AdvCash) payment system, it reported The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) citing sources. According to the publication, this decision by Binance is due to the fact that using the payment service, users could transfer funds from Russian banks to the exchange. An AdvCash representative told the publication that he had not received any notifications from Binance regarding the partnership.
According to the publication, links to independent exchangers were published on the payment system’s website, which could process transfers in AdvCash from client accounts in Russian banks that were subject to sanctions. Users could then transfer money to Binance accounts.
AdvCash began cooperation with Binance in 2019. In September 2023, Binance announced its withdrawal from Russia due to pressure on it over non-compliance with sanctions measures against Russians. Then Binance stated that they intended to close all services in Russia over the coming months.
