At the end of the summer months, it increased by 44% year-on-year, and average prices increased by 25%. Most often, Russians stay in suburban properties in the Krasnodar Territory, Dagestan and the Moscow region, while in Crimea this year demand has dropped noticeably.

Daily rentals are considered a budget alternative to hotels, says Oksana Shustikova, director of development and communications at Tvil. Artem Kromochkin, head of short-term rentals at Avito Real Estate, also connects the growing interest in short-term rentals outside the city with the desire of travelers to cut costs. “A family or company can comfortably stay in one house, sharing the cost. It costs more to rent several hotel rooms,” he says.

According to Avito Real Estate, the main format of countryside real estate for short-term rental is houses, which account for 73% of the supply. Another 20% are cottages, 6% are dachas, 3% are townhouses. Dachas are considered the most budget option. The average cost of renting such objects, according to Avito Real Estate estimates, increased by 17% year-on-year at the end of the summer, to 3.5 thousand rubles. per day. During this period, houses rose in price by an average of 14%, to 4 thousand rubles, and cottages – by 1%, to 8 thousand rubles. per night.

Most often, country properties for short-term rent, according to Avito Real Estate, are rented in the Krasnodar Territory, where demand over the year increased by 62%, and average prices by 17%, to 3.5 thousand rubles. per night. In Dagestan, tenant activity increased by 46%, and prices remained at the level of 5 thousand rubles. per day. In the Moscow region, the average cost of short-term rentals decreased by 15%, to 8.5 thousand rubles. per day, although demand in summer increased by 40% year on year. Ostrovok.ru noticed the greatest increase in interest in booking apartments over the year in the Leningrad region (by 82% year-on-year), Dagestan (by 72%) and the Irkutsk region (by 66%).

The only region that showed a decrease in tenant activity was Crimea. According to Avito Real Estate, demand for houses and dachas here in the summer decreased by 35% year-on-year, supply decreased by 12%, and average prices remained at 3 thousand rubles. per day. But, analysts add, the peninsula, together with the Krasnodar Territory and Dagestan, still remains among the regions with the largest supply.
