Balance: the property of Ukrainian oligarchs in the Kherson region will be nationalized

In the Kherson region, work is already underway on the possibility of nationalizing the property of Ukrainian oligarchs, Acting Governor Volodymyr Saldo told RIA Novosti. Whose specifically and what property can be seized is not specified.
“Their assets in the Kherson region, which they did not want to re-register under Russian law, are considered abandoned and transferred to the management of the State Property Fund. If this situation persists, they will be nationalized in the future,” promised Mr. Saldo.
In February, the Crimean Parliament decided to nationalize about 700 objects belonging to Ukrainian individuals. In particular, the property of Rinat Akhmetov, Igor Kolomoisky, Arseniy Yatsenyuk was nationalized. Crimean authorities also intend expand the list of nationalized property. Mr. Akhmetov began arbitration process against Russia, demanding compensation for “captured assets in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.”
