Avtodor plans that Russian drivers will pay 75 billion rubles for toll roads in 2023, said the chairman of the board of the state company Vyacheslav Petushenko on the sidelines of the VTB forum “Russia Calling!” In the summer, Avtodor planned to collect 60 billion rubles by the end of the year. In 2022, collections amounted to 54.3 billion rubles.
As Mr. Petushenko said, traffic has increased by an average of 12% since the beginning of 2023: by 14% for trucks and by 11% for cars.
“Toll roads have increased, the number of kilometers: the Aksai bypass, the Far Western bypass of Krasnodar, sections of M-12,” Mr. Petushenko told reporters (quoted from “Interfax”).
The trust management of Avtodor includes 4.7 thousand km of federal highways, including 2.6 thousand km of toll roads.
As Kommersant previously found out, Rostransnadzor in 2023 issued more than 1 million fines for non-payment of tolls on toll highways. Most of the resolutions were received by users of the Central Ring Road (TsKAD) and M-12 Vostok. At the same time, 34% of fines were canceled because car owners managed to pay off the debt.
