Avito Real Estate: demand for new buildings grew by almost 5% in the first quarter of 2023

According to the results of the first quarter of the year, the demand for new buildings in Russia increased by 4.8% compared to the last quarter of 2022. The offer in new buildings increased over the year by an average of 49.9% across the country. This was reported in the press service of the Avito Real Estate service.
Avito Nedvizhimost users became 19.3% qoq more interested in free-plan apartments, multi-room apartments by 12%, two-room apartments by 6.2%, one-room apartments by 4.7%, three-room apartments by 3.7% , studios — by 0.3%.
Omsk (50.8%), Sevastopol (42.3%) and Kazan (33.8%) became the leaders in terms of growth in demand for objects in new buildings. Demand fell the most in Moscow (-37%), Tyumen (-7.3%) and Krasnoyarsk (-4.8%).
Most of all, the size of supply in new buildings increased in Ryazan (427.3%), Omsk (413.9%) and Tula (383%). Saratov (-38.9%), St. Petersburg (-33.1%) and Barnaul (-14.7%) were the leaders in volume reduction.
On average, according to the results of the quarter, the cost per square meter in new buildings across the country increased by 0.5%. The indicator grew the most in Krasnodar (+12.9%), while it decreased in Sevastopol (-8.7%).
