The Auchan retailer is negotiating the lease of the Europe House business center, located near the Trubnaya metro station in the center of Moscow, writes RBC with reference to consultants in the real estate market. The Auchan press service confirmed that the company is considering options for locating a new central office. However, according to a company representative, a final decision has not yet been made.

The Europe House center is located on Kolokolnikov Lane and was built in 2004. From Rosreestr it follows that the space in the building was occupied for a long time by the German manufacturer of cosmetics and household chemicals Henkel. In May 2023 Henkel sold its Russian assets to a consortium of local investors.

Now the central office of Auchan is located in the Troika business center in the north of Moscow. In February 2024, the management company of the center, Nhood Russia, announced plans for its reconstruction. As the representative of Auchan clarified, in order to carry out all the necessary work, it is planned to temporarily close the office spaces in Troika. At the same time, RBC’s interlocutor noted that the retailer also has its own premises to accommodate employees.

Auchan is the Russian division of Auchan Retail, part of Auchan Holding (France), has been operating on the Russian market since 2002. The holding was founded by Gerard Mulier in 1961. In addition to the chain of the same name, the holding’s portfolio includes the chains Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, Kiabi, Mondial Carpet, etc.
