Aqualife Resources filed a petition to buy Kellogg’s Russian business

Aqualife Resource has filed a petition with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to obtain prior consent for the acquisition of the Russian division of the American company Kellogg, LLC Kellogg Rus. About it informs TASS with reference to the department’s materials.
According to the agency, Aqualife Resource belongs to the Management Technologies company, which includes several other food industry enterprises.
Kellogg came to Russia in 2008. It owns three factories in Voronezh, Pskov and Vyazma, where they manufacture products under the Lyubyatovo brand. At the end of 2021, the revenue of Kellogg Rus LLC increased by 9.8%, to 13.96 billion rubles, and net profit increased 1.7 times, to 888.39 million rubles.
Kellogg decided to suspend investments in the Russian business and the supply of its products to the country after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. On December 22 last year, the company announced the sale of the Russian business to the Chernogolovka group of companies.
