American corporation Apple reported, which will allow you to install retro game emulators through the AppStore. Previously, such emulators could only be installed on Android. Apple said it will ban apps that distribute pirated content.

Apple also updated its policies for super apps like WeChat, which have mini-apps and games inside them. They must now use the HTML5 protocol, indicating that they cannot be native applications. In Techcrunch considerthat in this way the company is responding to a US antitrust lawsuit, where Apple was accused of trying to crowd out super-apps and cloud-based game streaming applications.

Previously Apple released beta version of iOS 17.5 for developers, in the code of which they found a system of protection against tracking accessories used, in particular, by scammers.
