Aeroflot and Rostec signed a contract for the supply of MS-21 and SJ-100

Group “Aeroflotand the leasing company Aviacapital-Service (part of Rostec) entered into a firm contract for the supply of MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft. The press service of Rostec reported this.
According to the agreement, the group will receive 52 aircraft, including six MC-21-310 for Aeroflot, as well as 12 MC-21-310 aircraft and 34 SJ-100 airliners for Rossiya (part of the group). The contract was signed on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF).
Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov clarified that these contracts were the first under the deal for the supply of 339 aircraft to the Aeroflot group. According to him, airlines will receive the MC-21-310 and SJ-100 “in a completely import-substituted form.”
The group’s fleet includes 348 aircraft, including 78 SJ-100s, according to Aeroflot’s website.
