The star of the series “The Diary of Doctor Zaitseva” Yana Krainova believes that the “power of art” should not be underestimated, and the theater should not be cancelled.
“Literally tomorrow I’m leaving on a tour with the play. This is a comedy. And naturally the question arose: how appropriate is all this now? But it seems to me that the power of art lies precisely in lifting one above this world. And my colleagues and I decided that we needed to go, because these two hours will remind people of goodness, of love. This is very important now. As our acting teacher said, “our business is buffoonish.” We are going to at least just distract people for two hours. I believe that there is no need to be ashamed of this, but on the contrary, musicians, actors, artists and everyone in whose hands there is such an opportunity should continue their work,” Krainova concluded.
