A detective series is being filmed in the Leningrad region

A star expedition went to the Leningrad region with the goal of filming a detective series in almost extreme conditions. Popular artists are ready to drown in a swamp and start a fire in the forest. “MK” found out the details.

Karina Razumovskaya has already accumulated some experience in investigations during her career. In the summer, the series “Regional Center” was released, where the actress’s heroine found herself in a real rural detective story, and in “Major” Razumovskaya played a police officer. This time Karina will transform into an investigator who will have to find out all the circumstances of the fire at the sawmill that claimed human lives.

The series takes place in a small Far Eastern village. All its residents are trying to convince the investigator from the regional center that the fire was an accidental coincidence. But the very first steps in the investigation reveal very complex relationships between people who, it would seem, belong to each other.

Very famous artists became Karina Razumovskaya’s colleagues on the set. The project involves Irina Pegova, Pavel Trubiner, Maxim Drozd, Alexander Bukharov, Ekaterina Vulichenko and others. The Leningrad region plays the role of the Far East, and the locations for filming will be nature reserves, caves, swamps and one of the attractions of the Vyborg region – the Old Finnish Mill. The sawmill that needs to be burned in the frame was built right in the forest, and dugouts were dug there, where part of the action will unfold.

Scenic locations can certainly make for great backdrops, but shooting in nature is not always easy. The equipment has to be carried almost by hand, the conditions on the set are downright spartan, and besides, according to the plot, the heroes of the series will have to overcome swamps, and these scenes are structured so that the actors will be filmed without understudies. However, both the actors and the director of the series, Elena Nikolaeva, are very determined.
