Timofey is starring in a comedy based on the film “Beware of the Car”

Timofey Tribuntsev, Anna Ukolova, Sergei Lavygin and other actors will soon enjoy idyllic countryside landscapes and combine this pleasure with filming outdoors. In such environmental conditions, a new multi-part comedy should appear.

Timofey Tribuntsev, with the help of young colleagues, pulls an inflatable boat onto the river bank. The whole company is dressed in suits, trousers rolled up above the knees in order to get out of the water unscathed. The participants in the action look quite comical, which is apparently what director Dmitry Nevzorov is trying to achieve.

The plot of the series is reminiscent of the classic Soviet film “Beware of the Car.” Timofey Tribuntsev is a modern Detochkin here, trying his best to restore justice as he himself understands it. One of the most popular Russian actors had to transform into a janitor who works in a provincial orphanage. True, at night the watchman turns into a thief, a real threat to the homes of wealthy people who have made their fortunes in not entirely honest ways. The watchman, Uncle Lesha, directs all his trophies to the needs of the children’s institution, which he sees as his humanitarian mission.

However, it is difficult to count on stability in criminal activity, and one day chaos breaks into the measured life of the janitor and the thief. Uncle Lesha suddenly has accomplices from among the institution’s pupils, a local detective (Lavygin) is getting closer to the mysterious thief, the director of the orphanage (Ukolova) becomes not only the boss.

The similarity between the charisma of Timofey Tribuntsev and Innokenty Smoktunovsky, who played Yuri Detochkin in “Beware of the Car,” will probably allow critics to draw far-reaching conclusions. But the scriptwriters insist that they took exclusively light tones and the theme of the value of true friendship from the Soviet hit movie. Nevertheless, connoisseurs of Soviet cinema are probably eager to compare the level of humor of the classics and the modern interpretation.
