The capital’s Stanislavsky Electric Theater was surprised by the wave of media publications about the death of the young actor Kirill Turutin. The 27-year-old boy’s earthly journey ended three weeks ago, on January 18, and theater director Irina Zolina confirmed to MK that information about the incident “was published on the website and in groups on social networks on the same day.”
But for unknown reasons, the tragedy with “hype” connotations was “noticed” only now. At the same time, Turutin’s farewell and funeral have long passed – which only adds absurdity to this situation.
“The irreparable happened – a very young, very talented man, Kirill Turutin, suddenly left us. He played in the plays “Pinocchio. Forest”, “Pinocchio. Theater”, “Maids” and in the project “World-Rome”. We hoped to see new roles for Kirill, a subtle, reverent artist with a beautiful nature and great talent,” says Zolina.
Beyond the brackets of this commentary are bewilderment mixed with sorrow.
At the moment, the Stanislavsky Electric Theater has no plans to install a memorial plaque in honor of the artist, but let’s hope that a form of preserving his memory, given such an early departure, will still be found.
Let us remind you that, in addition to serving in the theater, Kirill starred in the TV series “The Seventh Symphony”, “Orphanage”, “Vertinsky”. The official cause of his death was not named – the artist’s mother only clarified that after a serious injury he was in a coma for two days.
