The Bolshoye Savino airfield (Perm) was closed due to an AnadoluJet Boeing 737 skidding off the runway. The plane was operating a flight from Antalya to Perm.
The Perm International Airport JSC explained to Kommersant that no one was injured as a result of the air incident. All passengers were evacuated to the airport terminal building. According to air navigation services for civil aviation crews, the Bolshoy Savino runway is closed for now. The runway friction coefficient, according to the METAR report, at the time of the incident was 0.6, which allows for a safe landing.
At the beginning of this year, a Boeing 737 of Pobeda Airlines rolled off the runway. During the investigation, it turned out that the cause of the incident was a malfunction of the front landing gear, as well as unreasonable actions of the crew.
