The Moscow publishing house “Zakharov”, which publishes the bulk of books by Boris Akunin*, has just announced on its Telegram channel the completion of a search conducted, according to unofficially unconfirmed information, by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
“They left… Let’s see what happens tomorrow,” wrote representatives of the publishing house, who previously claimed that “the head of the production department… has been summoned for questioning tomorrow as a witness.”
Earlier it became known that a case had been opened against Akunin* under the article on public justification of terrorism and dissemination of fakes about the Russian army.
At the same time, it is unknown whether the warehouse with copies of the writer’s books was opened in Zakharov and whether they were confiscated, which is what the security forces allegedly intended to do.
