A rocket was assembled at Baikonur to launch the Progress MS-26 cargo ship to the International Space Station (ISS). The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with cargo is scheduled for February 15 at 6:25 Moscow time, the Roscosmos state corporation reported in its Telegram-channel.

It is indicated that the cargo ship will deliver 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, in particular about 1.5 tons of apparatus and equipment for servicing station systems, clothing, supplies, medical and hygiene products for the crew. Progress MS-26 will also deliver 580 kg of fuel, 420 liters of water and 40 kg of nitrogen.

In 2023, Roscosmos successfully launched six spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Also over the past year, Russian cosmonauts carried out six spacewalks. On January 5, it became known that Roscosmos and the Energia rocket and space corporation concluded contract for the production of spacecraft for flights to the ISS in 2025–2027.
