A man with Venezuelan citizenship was detained in Alicante in the southeast of the Costa Blanca. According to the investigation, the detainee was “the main person responsible for laundering money received from criminal activities.”
The investigation into cyberattacks by the Kelvin Security group began in December 2021. Members of the hacker group looked for vulnerabilities on the websites of strategic sites, and if they managed to find them, they stole confidential data and sold it on the darknet. Thus, hackers attacked enterprises in the USA, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Chile and Japan.
