Voting has begun in Russia for the presidential elections. Residents of the Kamchatka Territory, where polling stations have already opened, will be the first to vote. You can vote from 8:00 to 20:00 from March 15 to 17.
The Central Election Commission has registered four presidential candidates: Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party), Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Vladislav Davankov (New People) and Vladimir Putin (self-nominated). More than 94 thousand polling stations have been prepared for the elections, manufactured 113.6 million ballot papers. It will also be possible to vote using the remote electronic voting system (DEG), if the voter has previously registered in it.
CEC will announce preliminary voting results in the morning of March 18. The commission will begin to produce the first results from 21:00 on March 17. From February 25 to March 14, early voting for the presidential election took place in remote and hard-to-reach places, including at polar stations and on ships at sea. From March 1, early voting is available at Russian diplomatic missions for Russians abroad. It takes place in 288 polling stations in 144 countries.
