Germany agreed on the supply of liquefied natural gas from the UAE

According to the Al Arabiya TV channel, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during his working visit to the UAE, held talks with the President of the Emirates, Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which he agreed on the supply of liquefied natural gas to Germany.

It is specified that the high interlocutors signed an agreement in the field of energy security and industrial development following the meeting.

LNG shipments to Germany will be carried out by the oil and gas company of the emirate of Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.

It is expected that the first “trial” batch of LNG from the UAE will arrive in Germany at the end of 2022.
