Serbia refused to recognize the results of the referenda in the Donbass

Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovich said that Belgrade will not recognize the results of referendums on joining the Russian Federation, which are held in the territories of Ukraine controlled by Russian troops – in the DPR, LPR, Kherson region and Zaporozhye.

Selakovic told reporters that in this matter the Serbian authorities will be guided by the UN Charter and generally accepted principles and norms of international law.

According to him, the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with this, “cannot accept the results of the referendum in the Ukrainian regions.”
