Putin: Nazi crimes have no statute of limitations

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the opening ceremony of a memorial in memory of the victims of the Nazi genocide during the Great Patriotic War, said that the crimes of the Nazis were punitive actions and had no statute of limitations.

Hitler’s fanatics and their accomplices “cold-bloodedly planned and cruelly committed the genocide of the Soviet people,” the president said.

Putin said that the Nazis committed not only crimes on the battlefields, but also massacres of unarmed Soviet citizens.
