Russia abolished duties on supplies of petroleum products and gas to South Ossetia

Russia and South Ossetia have agreed to abolish customs duties on the export of Russian oil products and gas to the partially recognized republic, it follows from protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental agreement between the two states.
According to the decree, duties on supplies from the Russian Federation to South Ossetia are also canceled in relation to plastics, ferrous metals, aluminum and products made from them. It is noted that the zero duty applies only to the volumes of supplies agreed upon by the countries. If they are exceeded, the standard duty established by Russia applies.
A document on changing the trade regime between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia was signed on December 30 by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach and the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic Sarmat Kotaev.
