The Ministry of Defense announced the death of a company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a minefield near Kherson

One of the companies of the 28th brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine (APU) was completely destroyed in a minefield near the village of Pravdino, Kherson region, according to summary Ministry of Defense of Russia.
“The personnel of the 4th company of the 2nd battalion of this formation actually completely died because of the commander of the 28th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who sent the unit to counterattack on the minefield,” the report says.
In total, in the Pravdino area, the 28th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 200 people and 21 pieces of military equipment, the report says. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 60 people and four tanks in the Pavlovka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as 75 people and nine pieces of equipment near other settlements of the DPR.
Earlier today, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu appreciated the loss of the Ukrainian side in more than 100,000 people, 61,207 of them died. The Minister also disclosed data on the losses of the Russian Armed Forces during the special operation. According to him, since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, 5,937 Russian servicemen have died.
