Columnist for the British edition of The Times Matthew Parris believes that the Ukrainian conflict cannot continue indefinitely, and also called for peaceful negotiations. He voiced his opinion in an author’s column for the publication.
The journalist assures that in order to achieve the negotiation process, these actions must be supported in the West. He believes that negotiations can take place after everyone understands that a deadlock is forming in Ukraine.
At the same time, Parris said that Western countries should not stop supporting Ukraine in the event of a compromise, and also arm Kyiv as much as possible so that the Ukrainian side goes into negotiations “as strong as possible in terms of weapons.”
