US Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has filed a motion asking for a vote on President Joe Biden’s request for more national security funds, including aid to Kyiv.
However, negotiations between the Democratic and Republican parties to agree on the request have failed, and the vote may not be held until December 11. In this regard, on December 5, the leader of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is scheduled to speak to senators as part of a closed briefing via video link.
The US administration invited Zelensky for this speech. Previously, Democrats and Republicans could not agree when considering a bill to protect the border and combat the migration crisis.
