Natura Siberica came up with a collection of cosmetics together with Gzhel – Kommersant

The new collection of the Russian brand Natura Siberica “Russian Northern Collection” was created jointly with the Gzhel Association. The line includes 22 products for daily care of the body, face and hair based on extracts and oils of Siberian herbs and berries (ginseng, cedar, arctic blueberry, Altai sea buckthorn). Especially for Natura Siberica, Gzhel artists manually created white and blue patterns, plant prints, on which images of Siberian herbs and berries are intertwined, thus successfully continuing the traditions of the ancient artistic ceramic craft. The design uses two traditional styles of painting: cobalt blue patterns on a white background and white and gold painting on a dark blue background (“solid cobalt”).
