State Duma deputy from United Russia Evgeniy Fedorov proposed banning travel abroad for foreign agents if they have debt under executive documents in any amount. The text of the deputy’s letter to the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov is given RT.
Now the bailiff has the right, at the request of the collector or on his own initiative, to issue a ruling on a temporary restriction on the debtor’s departure from Russia if the debt is more than 10 thousand or 30 thousand rubles, depending on the nature of the debt.
Deputy Fedorov believes that Russians recognized as foreign agents have been actively moving to permanent residence abroad in recent years, and debt collection from them is becoming a problem for bailiffs.
“In this regard, I ask you to instruct us to consider the feasibility of amending federal legislation in terms of giving the bailiff the right to issue a decision on a temporary restriction on leaving the country for foreign agents who have any amount of debt under a writ of execution,” the letter says Deputy Igor Krasnov.
In the last two years alone, Roskomnadzor has fined individuals recognized as foreign agents in the amount of over 233 million rubles. due to lack of required markings. In late August became knownthat the Ministry of Justice has developed a by-law that will allow unscheduled checks not only of those recognized as foreign agents, but also of persons associated with them.
