Chernyshov congratulated Sobyanin on his victory in the elections in Moscow

The candidate for mayor of Moscow from the LDPR, Boris Chernyshov, congratulated the current head of the capital’s administration, Sergei Sobyanin, on his victory in the elections.
“Of course, it was hard to compete with my main opponent – the current mayor and future mayor… Sergei Semenovich Sobyanin… I congratulate him on his well-deserved first place,” – noted Chernyshov during the Election Night marathon (quote from RIA Novosti).
Earlier it became known that Sobyanin received about 2 million votes in online voting; in total, 3.3 million voters took part in the elections for the mayor of Moscow.
From September 8 to 10, 4,270 election campaigns of various levels were held in 85 regions of Russia. Based on their results, more than 33,000 mandates will be filled; over 85,000 candidates from 23 parties have nominated themselves for the elections. Representatives of 20 parties were registered, a total of 81,000 candidates, United Russia had the most candidates, then the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party.
Participating in the election of the head of the capital are the current mayor Sergei Sobyanin (from United Russia), vice-speakers of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov (from New People) and Boris Chernyshov (from the LDPR), State Duma deputy, head of the Moscow branch of A Just Russia – For Truth » Dmitry Gusev and Moscow City Duma deputy, grandson of the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Leonid Zyuganov.
