Kudrin called the “formal explanation” of his inclusion in the list of US sanctions

Alexei Kudrin, corporate development adviser at Yandex, ex-head of the Accounts Chamber, explained being on the US sanctions list by working in the technology sector.

“The formal justification is work in the technology sector. I’ll leave it without comment for now.” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the US State Department, commenting on the introduced restrictive measures, declaredthat Kudrin was included in the list “for activities in the technology sector of the economy of the Russian Federation.”

Today, the United States updated the sanctions list against Russia. In addition to Kudrin, it included the acting governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin, the general director of the Kalashnikov concern Vladimir Lepin, the head of Alrosa Pavel Marinychev and others. Measures were also taken against the bank “Tinkoff”, Solidarity Bank, Loko Bank, Petersburg Social Commercial Bank, Unistream, some defense enterprises and research institutes.
