State Duma deputies adopted in the final reading a bill to increase the stay in the reserve by 5 years for citizens with military ranks of soldiers, sailors, sergeants, foremen, warrant officers and midshipmen. The decision was made at the plenary session today, July 18.
Within the framework of the law, the age limit for the stay of the reserve in the mobilization reserve has been increased: for senior officers – up to 65 years (now 60 years), for junior officers – up to 60 years (from 55 years), for those with other ranks – up to 55 years (from 45 years ). For those with the rank of senior officers, the age limit was not changed (70 years).
The age limit for the enumerated military men of the first category is increased from 35 to 40 years, of the second category – from 45 to 50 years, of the third category – from 50 to 55 years. It will also be possible to conclude a contract with a foreign citizen under the age of 52.
