LDPR nominates Boris Chernyshov as candidate for mayor of Moscow

The LDPR has officially nominated the Vice Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov for the election of the mayor of Moscow from the party. This decision was made at a conference of the Moscow branch of the Liberal Democratic Party, writes TASS.
“According to the results of a secret ballot, Chernyshov’s candidacy gained a sufficient number of votes and was nominated as a candidate for mayor of Moscow,” said Egor Anisimov, chairman of the counting commission.
The Moscow City Duma scheduled elections on June 7. They will last three days – from 8 to 10 September. Remote electronic voting will be used in the mayoral elections.
The current mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, will also take part in the elections. His candidacy was supported by United Russia on 9 June. 275 delegates voted for his nomination.
About the official nomination of their candidate already reported in the New People party, he became the Vice-Speaker of the State Duma, a member of the Committee on Budget and Taxes Vladislav Davankov. June 20, the party “Fair Russia – Patriots – For Truth” put forward First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Control and Head of the Moscow Branch of the Party Dmitry Gusev. It is assumed that the Moscow City Duma deputy and the grandson of the Communist Party leader Leonid Zyuganov will also take part in the elections. The party will have to announce his nomination on June 23.
