The Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine reported that the participants of the 27th expedition repaired the guide near the Akademik Vernadsky station (the former British Faraday station – Ed.) in Antarctica, on which signs with names and distances to different cities are placed.

Some tablets have been decommunized. In particular, the doctor Vasily Matkovsky and the mechanic Maxim Belous changed the Kirovohrad sign to Kropyvnytskyi and changed the Russian-language names of Odessa and Vinnitsa to the Ukrainian spelling – Odessa and Vinnitsa.

In addition, the names of Mariupol and Bucha were painted in red and black colors.
