The author of the hit “I’ll kill you, boatman” Professor Lebedinsky became homeless in America

Star performer Alexey Lebedinsky performed in Russia in the 90s under the pseudonym Professor Lebedinsky. Now in the USA he is seriously ill and lives almost without money. The former singer posted this news about himself on social networks.

Alexey Lebedinsky uploaded a video to his account – few would be able to recognize the hit artist of the 90s in the bearded old man. He complained about an acute lack of money.

“Last month they sent me just enough money to pay my electricity and internet bills. And I had to ask again,” the singer wrote.

Alexey Lebedinsky called himself “an absolute homeless person.” Very rarely does the former hit singer leave the house. He developed tremors in his arms and legs. The singer called his condition existential depression.

The hit “I’ll Kill You, Boatman” was released in 1995. Then there were songs that suddenly became very popular – “I’m dancing drunk on the table”, “I won’t tell anyone that it’s winter today”, and others. Alexey Lebedinsky went on a tour of Russia with his new album and earned a lot of money. In 2014 he moved to the USA, and in 2022 he abandoned Russia.
