As shown by fresh survey service for finding a highly paid job Superjob, 60% of Russians are sure that savings today should be kept in rubles. A little more than a third trusts the dollar for these purposes, a little less than a third of respondents trust the euro. At the same time, faith in the reliability of the ruble grows with the age of the respondents; men vote more often than women for dollar stash.
The survey also revealed that, compared to September last year, the level of confidence in the ruble decreased by 5 percentage points, while in the dollar and the euro it increased by 7 percentage points and 6 percentage points, respectively. Experts attribute this to the recent rise in the exchange rate of the American and European currencies against the ruble. It should be noted that the survey was conducted before the jump in rates against the backdrop of Saturday’s conflict between the Wagner PMC and the authorities.
