The head of the department for organizing the use of airspace of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Sergei Martynenko, said that 31 airports will be equipped with anti-drone systems. He announced this at a press conference of the Digital Transportation forum.
“As part of this task (providing infrastructure – Kommersant), it is planned to equip 31 airports with technical means of detecting and countering unmanned aerial vehicles, equipping systems for ensuring information security of the infrastructure,” said Mr. Martynenko (quoted from TASS).
He added that the project has already been approved, and the Federal Air Transport Agency will implement it. He did not name the airports that will be equipped with countermeasures.
