Ahsoka Tano is one of the brightest characters in the Star Wars universe, but she did not get into the films of George Lucas and was previously presented only as a cartoon character. Ahsoka is a student of Anakin Skywalker, but was forced to leave the Jedi Order due to false accusations. According to the plot of the new series, Ahsoka will fight with the imperial general Thrawn.

Starring Rosario Dawson. Anakin Skywalker, who is seen in Ahsoka’s flashback, is again played by Hayden Christensen. Seventeen years later, the actor will return to his image from the second and third episodes of Lucas’ Star Wars.

The leader of the underground is trying to deliver to the scientists a girl named Ellie, who has suddenly developed immunity to infection. They are assisted by Joel, a grim type hired as someone who can deal with zombies, cannibals and other troubles.

The main roles are played by Bella Ramsay, who brightly showed herself in the “Game of Thrones”, and the star of “The Mandalorian” Pedro Pascal.

The series is an adaptation of the super-successful computer game. The main creators of the project are Neil Druckmann, who worked on the game, and Craig Mazin, known from the TV series Chernobyl. One of Us was expected to have a more than bright Russian trail. The pilot episode was filmed by Russian director Kantemir Balagov, author of the festival hits “Dylda” and “Closeness”. However, the plans of the producers of the series suddenly changed and they decided to abandon the pilot.

The heroes of “Idol” are a young ambitious pop starlet and someone like a sorcerer, that is, a character not at all alien to the entertainment industry. After a chance meeting in a club between Jocelyn and Theodore (that’s the name of the main characters), a stormy romance begins, in which tabloid passions boil: nervous breakdowns, manipulation, a mysterious sect.

The fast-growing Lily-Rose Depp (Johnny Depp’s daughter married to Vanessa Paradis) plays the singer, while Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, plays the demonic leader of the cult.

“Idol” is best described as a whim of Canadian pop idol The Weeknd. He is the author of the idea, the performer of one of the main roles and co-author of the script. Even the premiere of the trailer of the series took place this summer at the singer’s show in New Jersey.

However, the Canadian chart conqueror, apparently, very soberly assessed his talents in a foreign industry for himself, so he enlisted solid support. One of the creators of the series was Euphoria showrunner Sam Levinson, who is often accused on social networks of an obsession with nudity and the sexualization of heroines who do not know the measure.

During the filming there was a small scandal. Director Amy Seimetz (“Stranger Things”) left the project at the stage of several episodes already filmed. According to rumors, she had a conflict with Tesfaye. It seems that Amy wanted to set out the female line in as much detail as possible, so she focused on the character of Lily-Rose Depp. But Tesfaye, probably confident that this is his show, did not like this approach.

The famous animated series about four nations with one of the elements and a boy who needs to master them all in order to save the world has received a new game version. A feature-length film based on the animated series has already been shot by M. Night Shyamalan, but his picture “The Last Airbender” (originally titled “Avatar”) came out after Cameron’s “Avatar” and failed miserably.

The new project was turned into a series, which, according to the creators, will make it possible to tell the history of the four peoples more clearly. Nearly all of the roles are played by actors who are Asian or Native American. In the title role, 12-year-old Filipino from Canada Gordon Carmier, an acquaintance from the TV series Lost in Space.

Initially, Brian Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, the creators of the same animated series, were involved in the work on the series. However, due to disagreements with the producers, they left the project, which of course gave rise to doubts among Avatar fans about the final result.

However, there is no doubt about the visual side of the matter. More than one hundred and twenty million dollars was invested in the project, and the video wall used on the filming got into the record book as the largest structure of its kind. Incredible special effects and costumes are promised, which cannot fail to impress.

The John Wick film franchise now has a prequel miniseries. The plot is dedicated to the history of the Continental Hotel, which serves as a hideout for hired killers. In the John Wick films, the owner of the hotel, Winston Scot, is a very mature man. The events of the series unfold forty years earlier, while Winston is still a novice hired killer and, together with his associates, decide to create a hotel that could become their base. The background for the plot was the mafia everyday life of New York in the seventies.

The role of young Scott is played by Colin Woodell, the second leading role went to Hollywood veteran Mel Gibson.

As the work on the series grew into details, fans of the film franchise began to wonder if Keanu Reeves, who plays John Wick, will appear in the project. The public was kept in the dark for some time, but then it became known that Reeves would exclusively produce the project. The director’s chair went to Albert Hughes (“The Book of Eli”). It is also known that at least twenty million dollars was invested in each of the three episodes.

The main character of the show is Princess Nymeria, the one after whom Arya named her dire wolf in the first season of Game of Thrones. After the defeat in the war, Nymeria went to Dorne by sea (an area that is described in Martin’s books, but did not get into the Game of Thrones), married Mors Martell, and then enlisted the support of the Dornish.

Amanda Siegel, whose resume includes In Sight, The Good Wife, and other projects, was in the chair of the showrunner of the series. It is noteworthy that George Martin does not have a book that would describe the adventures of Nymeria, so the scriptwriters worked without literary reference, thinking through the story of the warrior on their own.
