Actor Yuri Stoyanov explained in a conversation with aif.ruwhy the absence of foreign films in cinemas is good.
According to the artist, he does not consider it bad that foreign films are no longer shown in cinemas. He cited the example of the French, who raised their cinema by introducing restrictions on the distribution of foreign films. Thus, they raised interest in domestic cinema and revived it economically.
Stoyanov emphasized that due to sanctions we do not have the opportunity to watch “branded” films. Many films that I would like to see are not shown at the box office. But on the Internet they can be found in good quality and with multi-voice dubbing.
The actor noted that today Russian cinema is at a new stage. Such a large volume of high-quality films and series have not been shot in the country for a long time.
