YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki announces her resignation

Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube for the past nine years, announced about his resignation.
Ms. Wojcicki has been with Google almost since the company’s inception, officially becoming its 16th employee. During her career with the company, she “led marketing, co-founded Google’s image search engine, led Google’s video and book search project and the early stages of AdSense, worked on the YouTube and DoubleClick acquisitions, was VP of Advertising, and most recently nine years as CEO of YouTube.”
“Today, after almost 25 years here, I have decided to step down as the head of YouTube and start a new chapter of my life dedicated to my family, health and personal projects that I am passionate about,” Wojcicki wrote.
Susan Wojcicki will be replaced by current YouTube Product Director Neil Moan. Wojcicki herself, despite her resignation, will continue to work with some YouTube teams and advise Alphabet CEO (owns Google) Sundar Pichai on all of the corporation’s products.
