PJSFC Sistema (MOEX: AFKS) is interested in acquiring mining assets. This was announced by the founder and largest shareholder of the corporation, Vladimir Yevtushenkov (49.2% of shares).
Answering the question “Interfax” on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum, whether AFK Sistema plans to purchase assets in mining or gold mining, Mr. Yevtushenkov said: “Of course.”
AFK Sistema was founded in 1993. Among its assets is MTS (MOEX: MTSS), Internet company Ozon (MOEX: OZON), development group “Etalon”, timber industry holding Segezha Group (MOEX: SGZH), the Steppe agricultural holding, the Medsi clinic chain, the Binnopharm Group drug manufacturer, etc. At the end of 2022, Sistema paid dividends in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles.
