However, the capitalization of Russian companies is still significantly lower than foreign ones. For example, Microsoft’s capitalization recently reached $3 trillion.
The Forbes rating includes companies whose revenue is generated on the Internet. These do not include stores selling goods online or banking services. The companies were asked for financial indicators. Their prices were compared to their public counterparts. The final assessment also took into account the assessment of financial analysts and data on stock transactions. The value of public companies is equal to their capitalization on the Moscow Exchange as of February 1, 2024.
